از آنجایی که حروف ندا معمولاً از جملات دیگر جدا هستند، استفاده درست از آنها دشوار است. نگرانی بزرگتر این است که آیا استفاده از interjections در نوشته شما مناسب است یا خیر. بهتر است از این حروف در نوشتههای غیررسمی و دوستانه استفاده شود. استفاده از آنها در گفتار نیز اشکالی ندارد. اما از استفاده از حرف ندا در نوشتار رسمی خودداری کنید زیرا ممکن است به نظر برسد که موضوع را جدی نمیگیرید.
