A Travel Guide To Paris
Paris is the capital of France and one of the most well-known cities in the world. After London, Paris has the most tourists in Europe. This guide will go over some essential things to know if you plan to visit Paris. As far as places to stay, Paris has many good hotels such as Hôtel de Crillon, Le Bristol Paris, Hôtel 9Confidentiel and The Hoxton. There are cheaper options as well if you are interested in saving your money for other things. For your transportation around the city, there are a few options that you can use. The easiest method of transportation in Paris is the trains, and there are train stops throughout the city with a one-way trip costing as low as 2$. Your second option is using the bus, an excellent alternative to trains and costs about the same for a single journey. Taxis are also a good way to move around the city. G7 is one of the best options with its own app; you can also use Uber.
One of the most enjoyable things to do in Paris is eating, so much so that it is hard to have a bad meal there. If you’re not getting breakfast from your hotel, you can try great cafes like Claus or Holly Belly. You can also try other things like fresh bread, chocolate croissants, macarons, crepes, and cheese(which is incredibly cheap in Paris). For lunch and dinner, you can try restaurants like Carette, Daroco, Pizzu, and Le Relais de l’Entrecote that only serves steak and French fries(YES, French fries are really French!). Paris is a beautiful city to explore with many sights to see. The first place that will probably come to everyone’s mind is the Eiffel Tower, and I think it’s safe to say that most people think of this tower when they hear the name Paris. The Eiffel tower looks magical at night with its blinking lights, and you can also get a 360 view of the city if you get to the top of it. If you like museums, then you must visit Musée d’Orsay and the Louvre. For those who appreciate stunning architecture, Notre-Dame de Paris is a place to see, but unfortunately, since the 2019 fire, interior access is no longer an option.
