مقدمه

خلاصه‌ی فیلم Django Unchained

Django Unchained is the story of a slave who’s been separated from his wife, Broomhilda, by their owner. The movie starts with Django and some other slaves being transferred to somewhere in Texas on a cold winter night by two slave traders. Meanwhile, a German bounty hunter, who’s been looking for Django encounters the two brothers in the jungles of Texas. His name is Dr, Schultz and he needs Django to help him find three outlaws who happen to be brothers. Dr. Schultz kills one of the slave traders and forces the other to sell Django to him.

Django and Dr. Schultz head to a cotton farm where the three brothers are working. In their journey to the cotton farm, they get to know each other better and Django tells Dr. Schultz about his wife who is now serving as a slave in south. She has been bought by another slave trader who mainly buys mandingos, slaves who are bred for fighting.

Django identifies the three outlaws in the cotton farm and kills one of them. The other two are killed by Dr. Shultz. The owner of the farm, along with the villagers, attempt to kill Django and Dr. Shultz at night, but tables turn and they see themselves trapped and consequently killed by Dr. Shultz and Django.  Django assists Dr. Shultz in murdering some other outlaws during that winter and turn out to be excellent at shooting.

By the beginning of spring, they decide to go to south and find Broomhilda. Knowing that her owner, Calvin Candie, would not sell her that easily, they plan to buy one of Candie’s fighters and Broomhilda together. Being unreasonably rich, Calvin possesses a big farm, a dozen guards, several servants and guards, and a lawyer. They find Calvin and introduce themselves as slave traders and manage to convince Calvin into selling them one of his best fighters for $12000.

Everything goes well according to the plan till Stephen, Calvin’s oldest slave-house, discovers that Django and Dr. Shultz are there for Broomhilda. When he informs Calvin about this, Calvin gets angry and forces them to pay $12000 for Broomhilda alone. Dr. Shultz pays the money and buys Broomhilda’s freedom. This does not satisfy Calvin and he insists that Dr. Shultz must respect the trading traditions in south and shake hands with him to formally conclude the deal. Dr. Shultz, who is too angry and nervous at this point, kills Calvin and is immediately killed by one of the guards. After some shooting, Django and Broomhilda are captured.

The next day Stephen sells Django to three slave traders and keeps Broomhilda in captivity. While being transferred to a mining company, Django manages to kill the three slave traders and head back to Candi land where his wife is captivated. By the time he arrives at Candi land, Stephen and other servants are busy with Calvin’s funeral. Django kills the rest of Calvin’s guards and releases Broomhilda. When Stephen and others return, Django catches them by surprise. He lets two of the black servants leave and kills Calvin’s sister and Stephen. The final scene of the movie depicts Django and Broomhilda waiting outside Calvin’s house and watching it as it explodes.
